About Us

Based in Australia, Digital Trends was formally established in January 2005, with its core group of partners having been working together in IT since 1996, as leaders in their respective fields.

By putting together industry leaders, Digital Trends is able to offer clients a one-stop shop to meet all their IT project needs - as well as providing a highly skilled team able to "hit the ground running" on key projects, avoiding delays which may arise as new co-workers acclimatise to each other and new applications.

Digital Trends focus on total information technology resource management. This is achieved by providing specialist services and products designed with excellence as a top priority. As a standard approach, we focus on using the latest open source technologies such as Linux, Apache, OpenOffice and Plone/Zope. This approach guarantees highly secure and stable solutions at a fraction of the costs associated with proprietary software, by avoiding vendor lock-in and licensing fees. The return on investment is almost immediate and the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is minimal when compared to other vendor offerings.
